Every student is highly valued at Rushey Mead Academy. We understand that students have different aptitudes and starting points and we have a strong belief that everyone can be successful and exceed their expectations. This philosophy results in the academy exceeding its targets for students every year. In other words, students achieve much better results than might have been expected in other schools. The academy receives "pupil premium" funding from the Department for Education to support learners eligible for free academy meals to achieve their potential.
In recent years more than 90% of students have left Rushey Mead with 5 or more A*-C GCSE passes, with more than 60% including English and Maths. Annually more than 20 students leave us with 10 or more A and A* grades. For further details of our latest examination results click here.
